Volunteers are the cornerstone on which the Intermountain Section and AWWA are built. Throughout AWWA's history, volunteers have driven advances in both the Association and the water industry.
Getting Started
Getting involved as a Section volunteer is easy, and in many cases, you don’t necessarily need to be an AWWA member to volunteer.
The first step in getting started is to fill out and submit the Section's Design Your Membership Involvement and Volunteer Experience. This Once completed email the form to us at info@ims-awwa.org . The form allows you to point out your special talents and things you like to do. Submit the form by clicking the email link at the top of the form. Once we receive your form we will review it and contact you about some of the best opportunities geared for you!
If you are an AWWA member or an employee of a Utility member, Service Provider member, or a Partner Agency member you can join a committee. You can find out more information about the Section's committees by visiting theCommittees Page. Contact the Committee chair (found on the Committee page) if you are interested in becoming a member of a particular committee. We look forward to welcoming you as a Intermountain Section AWWA volunteer!
