Leadership Forum Nominations 2018 - 2019

  • Concerned with succession planning each time someone is ready to retire?
  • Ready to move someone into a leadership role, but the employee needs just a little training?
Then nominate an individual to be part of the Intermountain Section AWWA Leadership Forum!
The Leadership Forum was developed to help prepare our future leaders, not with a traditional classroom environment, but through interactive discussions with water industry leaders, collaboration with peers, and experiencing first-hand the sights and sounds of what it takes to be a leader. 
This is an intensive, educational program for staff who are interested in and have a potential to assume a larger leadership role in their organization. Participants will be introduced to critical issues and top decision-makers through a series of day-long sessions.
The program of study includes:
  • Following the elements of effective utility management
  • Utility financial management
  • Human resource management, team building, leadership versus management
  • Legal and regulatory affairs
  • Customer service and information systems
  • Public relations
  • Operations and maintenance
  • Engineering, construction, safety and security
  • Learn how to draw relationships to fuel growth and help you surpass your personal limits
Submission deadline is October 19, 2018.
