This annual event is one not to miss! On Monday, February 13, 2017 from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm key experts will discuss legislative and regulatory issues, including:

Representatives from Utah’s Legislature, as well as, agency managers will be on hand to discuss pressing water issues in the State.  From water legislation to regulation, from water rights to water quality, from legislative committees to action, all of it will be discussed at the 2017 Legislative Update.

Also, many critical decisions affecting US water utilities, their customers and other AWWA members are made in Washington, DC.  From laws to regulations, from cabinet appointments to advisory committee decisions, from special interest actions to public health policy decisions, all of it happens in the nation's capitol, and much of it affects Intermountain Section AWWA members.  The Legislative Update provides an opportunity for Section members to hear from AWWA's Government Affairs staff who, on a daily basis, advocate for sensible laws, regulations, programs and policies that ensure safe and affordable water.
