Jason Luettinger Elected Second Trustee of the Section

At the closing luncheon of the Annual Conference last week, it was announced that Jason Luettinger was elected to the Intermountain Section Board of Trustees .As Second Trustee Jason will progress through the Section positions to Past Chair. The Second Trustee is part of the Board of Trustees which is the governing body of the Section. The Trustee performs those duties assigned them by the Chair of the Board of Trustees. After serving two consecutive years as a Trustee, the Trustee shall succeed to the office of Vice Chair, then to Chair Elect, then Chair, and concluding with Past Chair. 

Jason has enjoyed a career in the municipal water industry for over 20 years as a civil engineer. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and master’s degree in environmental engineering with a specialty in hydraulics and water treatment. For the past seventeen years, Jason has been employed with Bowen Collins & Associates as a consulting engineer. He is currently a Principal Engineer at Bowen Collins & Associates. His career experience includes numerous large water related civil projects for clients throughout Utah and Idaho. His experience includes planning, design and construction management of pump stations, pipelines, and water treatment facilities.

Jason has been an active member of AWWA Intermountain Section for over seventeen years. He has presented numerous topics at annual conferences covering public relations, water pipeline planning, large project construction, and pump station engineering. He is currently serving as a member of the AWWA Intermountain Section’s Water Quality Committee, and he looks forward to the potential opportunity to continue to expand his participation with the Intermountain Section of AWWA. Outside of the office, Mr. Luettinger’s passions include spending time with his wife and kids while skiing and mountain biking, camping and exploring the outdoors, and attempting to play the guitar.
