Central Utah Water Conservancy District Gets Partnership for Safe Water Award at ACE14

Dave Hardy, Dave Pitcher, and Gerard Yates were all on hand at ACE14 to receive Partnership for Safe Water’s 10-Year Excellence in Water Treatment Award.  The award was given to Central Utah Water Conservancy District’s Utah Valley Treatment Plant.  CUWCD was given this award for their achievement of long-term, consistent high-quality performance.

The Partnership is an unprecedented alliance of the six largest drinking water organizations. The association's goal is to offer self-assessment and optimization programs so that operators, managers and administrators have the tools to improve performance above and beyond even proposed regulatory levels.  The Partnership offers programs for both treatment optimization and distribution optimization.  Participating utilities report performance improvement without major capital spending!
