Conferences: 2018 Annual Conference

     
     

 

This three-day conference is the event for all in the water industry.  There are over 40 technical breakout sessions, an exhibit hall, awards luncheons, and other activities to wow anyone!  The first day of the conference is Special Water Operators Day.  The last day of the conference is where we give out our awards and celebrate our members.  There is special pricing and events to go along with the days.

The theme of this year’s Intermountain Section Annual Conference is Watershed Moment: The Changing Landscape of Water. But, how much water is enough? That is the question! Water is an essential element of both economic stability and economic development. The combination of historic drought conditions and continued population growth in the southwestern United States has made water an increasingly scarce commodity.  

The informative Keynote presentation by regional experts will help attendees better understand how the variables of water supply, water demand, population growth, and policy decisions affect the water sustainability of our communities. And we will demonstrate that it will take focused decision making to maximize the economic and qualities-of-life benefits of each gallon of water invested.

Registration Cancellation Policy 

  • Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for your registration is 30 days before the event.
  • After the deadline the attendee can designate another person to attend in their place.  This will result in a $25 service fee. 
  • Registration cancellations received prior to the deadline may be eligible to receive a refund less a $75 service fee.
  • Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund. 
  • Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. 
  • Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
  • All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.
  • Refund requests must include the name of the attendee. 
  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
