This three-day course will prepare water operations personnel or others who would like to become a water operator to take and pass the State Water Operator Exam. This course will be for those who would like to obtain a Water Operator Certification license as well as for those wanting to tackle more advanced topics for the higher-level exams.

Description

This three-day course will prepare water operations personnel or others who would like to become a water operator to take and pass the State Water Operator Exam. This course will be for those who would like to obtain a Water Operator Certification license as well as for those wanting to tackle more advanced topics for the higher-level exams. Water operations experts will present the topics, which will include: Pumps & Motors, Disinfection, Safety & Security, Math, Rules and Regulations, and Operations & Maintenance.  Download the detailed Agenda with instructor bios.

Special Math & Exam Prep Sessions

Of special interest will be a math help breakout session where attendees can work in small groups and one-on-one with math experts to focus on mathematics questions at their comfort level.  Also, a final review session will be given where hundreds of realistic practice questions are reviewed just prior to taking the exam. The final day will conclude with an opportunity to take and pass the official State exam.

Take the Water Operator Certification Exam at College of Southern Idaho

Following the final review session in the morning of the third day, the Intermountain Section has reserved the College of Southern Idaho's computer lab for those wanting to take the exam. There are only 10 spots available that day to take the online exam.  You will be charged the College of Southern Idaho fee to use the computer facilities when you sign up for one of the available spots

·         5 Spots available from 11:30 to 2:30 (Please choose the optional ticket if you would like to take the exam at this time)

·         5 Spots available from 2:30 to 5:30 (Please choose the optional ticket if you would like to take the exam at this time)

*Attendees who are planning to take the exam at College of Southern Idaho must also register and pay for the Exam before April 5th with the Idaho Bureau of Occupational Licensing at:
