The Intermountain Section of the American Water Works Association seeks students pursuing education in science and engineering related to the field of water quality, supply, or treatment in the Intermountain West to apply for a series of scholarships.

Three separate scholarships will be available, including an undergraduate scholarship in science or engineering, a graduate scholarship in science or engineering, and a scholarship to support an outstanding minority student in the field. Awards will be given in the amounts ranging from $1,000 to $1,500. Every applicant will also be awarded a one year subscription to Journal AWWA and a one year IMS AWWA student membership.

The application and all required supporting materials must be received by the Intermountain Section AWWA no later than November 2nd, 2009.

Recipients will be notified and the award sum will be made available by December 1st, 2009.   

All applicants will receive a one year IMS AWWA student membership and a one year subscription to Journal AWWA.
