Scholarship Applications

The Intermountain Section of the American Water Works Association is pleased to announce the availability of a scholarship program to support students pursuing studies in the field of water quality, supply, and treatment in the Intermountain West.

Four separate scholarships will be available, including an undergraduate scholarship in science and engineering, two graduate scholarships in science and engineering, and a scholarship to support an outstanding minority student in the field. Awards will be given in the amounts ranging from $1,000 to $1,500. Every applicant will also be awarded a one year subscription to Journal AWWA and a one year AWWA student membership.

A completed application form and all required supporting materials should be received by IMS AWWA no later than October 31st, 2011.  The application form and other supporting information must be submitted as a pdf. file with the exception of the letters of recommendation (these should also be submitted via e-mail according to application instructions).  All application submission information can be found on the IMS AWWA website at www.ims-awwa.org. The recipient will be notified and the award sum will be made available by December 31st, 2011.
