Employee Engagement, The Key to IgnitingPassion, Productivity and Commitment Multiple studies in different countries and across industries show that employees who are passionate about their jobs and the organizations in which they work are in the minority. A recent Gallop Organization poll revealed that less than 30 percent of employees are highly engaged, while an alarming 20 percent are actively disengaged; everyone else lies somewhere in the middle—doing enough to get by and collect a paycheck. But what is engagement, how do you reengage the disengaged and at the same time prevent yourself from joining the ranks of the disengaged? During the pre-conference sessions participants will discover exactly what engagement means, how to engage each of the generations in the workplace and retire the generation gap, and how to remain engaged through it all.
