Conferences: 2017 Annual Conference
Upcoming Events
FREE Small Systems Operator Training to Achieve/Maintain Compliance with the Safe Drinking Wa
Tuesday, September 26, 2017

This three-day conference is the event for all in the water industry.  There are over 40 technical breakout sessions, an exhibit hall, awards luncheons, and other activities to wow anyone!  The first day of the conference is Special Water Operators Day.  The last day of the conference is where we give out our awards and celebrate our members.  There is special pricing and events to go along with the days.

The theme of this year’s Intermountain Section Annual Conference is Invest in Your Community. Just add H2O. But, how much water is enough? That is the question! Water is an essential element of both economic stability and economic development. The combination of historic drought conditions and continued population growth in the southwestern United States has made water an increasingly scarce commodity.

The informative Keynote presentation by regional experts will help attendees better understand how the variables of water supply, water demand, population growth, and policy decisions affect the water sustainability of our communities. And we will demonstrate that it will take focused decision making to maximize the economic and qualities-of-life benefits of each gallon of water invested.
