
Young Professionals
MISSION STATEMENT:
To develop programs of interest to young professionals in the drinking water industry, to promote the benefits of membership in AWWA by increasing opportunities for participation and career development, and to identify younger industry members who can be encouraged to take an active, leadership role in the Association.
COMMITTEE INFORMATION:
In the Intermountain Section of AWWA a Young Professional is any member or prospective member that considers themselves to be relatively new in the drinking water industry. We are made up of individuals working for utilities, regulatory agencies, consulting firms, academic institutions, or manufacturers and suppliers.

Well Drilling Class with the Young Professionals-August 3rd
This event is open to all.
Come join the Young Professionals of AWWA in their quarterly luncheon. Boart Longyear will be hosting a drilling mud and fluids property class. This is open for all of those looking to learn more about well drilling and properties. For those with extra time the class will be followed by a tour of Boart Longyear’s facilities and equipment. The class will be held August 3rd @ 11:00 AM at 2745 W California Ave Salt Lake City, Utah.
