Scholarship Funding Program

Currently the Intermountain Section offers three, annual scholarships:

· $1,500 graduate student scholarship

· $1,000 undergraduate student scholarship

· $1,000 diversity scholarship 

These opportunities are provided each year through a budgeting process with funding from outside sources and the Intermountain Section.  The Intermountain Section is committed to provide scholarships to students who have financial need but also excel in their field of study related to the water industry.

Scholarship Sponsorships 

The Intermountain Section Board and Student Scholarship and Outreach Committee would like to invite your organization, or you as an individual, to help fund additional scholarships, or to contribute to existing scholarships.  To initiate a scholarship sponsorship, we are asking for a minimum of $1,000 each year with encouragement to commit to multiple years.  With a sponsorship of $1,000 the scholarship will carry your name or the name of your organization and you will have input on the selection parameters for that award. Sponsoring organizations or individuals have the opportunity to provide input for scholarship award guidelines to best reflect their company or individual desires as long as it falls within the goals and scope of the Intermountain Section.

Scholarship Donations 

If you would like to contribute to the Scholarship Program, but cannot be a Sponsor your donation will be accepted and added to one of the existing schoolarships. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and you will be recognized for your contribution on our website.
